Al Gore was initially unsure which show he would attend.
"I'm going to be wherever I can do the most good and add the most value," the former vice president told Billboard magazine in April.
Apparently he feels he is most needed in New Jersey. He will attend the Giants Stadium Live Earth concert, choosing the Meadowlands over other Live Earth locales such as London, Rio de Janeiro, Tokyo and Sydney.
"Our worldwide control room is in London - I'll be in London, but Mr. Gore will be in New Jersey. He'll be off and on (the stage), very involved," Kevin Wall told The Star-Ledger today. Wall, who has worked on other mega benefits such as Live Aid and Live 8, is co-executive producing the event with Gore, and came up with the idea for it after seeing Gore's global-warming documentary, "An Inconvenient Truth."
