Over one million people will show up to Brazil's Copacabana Beach for the Live Earth concert.
The Brazilian leg of the 24-hour, global music extravaganza is the only free concert.
The headlining acts for the event have been revealed. Rio de Janeiro will be welcoming Lenny Kravitz, Pharrell Williams, Macy Gray and more to help raise awareness of global warming.
Brazil's Tourism Secretary, Ruben Medina, added, "Rio de Janeiro reaffirms its position as an icon city in the America by supporting and being one of the host cities of Live Earth, important peace manifesto that aims to increase the conscience about global warming."
